LETUSWORK EUROPE HISTORY

Torsten Schmidt, Managing Director

Torsten Schmidt Executive Director LET US WORK

25 years ago, Torsten Schmidt founded his first specialist electrical business. It was a time of renewed construction, when high demand and the availability of highly-skilled professionals enabled the company to grow rapidly, employing almost 100 workers. Then the boom time ended, and demand decreased. The company’s founder managed to hold on to his employees, but he needed a new direction during the general economic downturn.
During this time, Torsten Schmidt gained the most important insight of his entrepreneurial life: a full understanding of the difficulties faced by self-employed tradespeople, their skills, living conditions, concerns and hardships.
It was with this in mind that Torsten Schmidt set up LETUSWORK europe GmbH. His vision was to establish a community of tradespeople providing high-quality work at a fair price, where people work together without rivalry and envy, proud of what can be achieved together, and where all involved parties can focus on their own areas of expertise. The LETUSWORK europe head office can focus on organisation and management, and the tradespeople can focus on their job.

Each day, the LETUSWORK europe community is motivated by its mission to provide big jobs for small-scale tradespeople.
